For companies

Employer matching

The easiest money in philanthropy.

Thousands of companies will match what their employees give, and billions of dollars of it goes unclaimed every year — because claiming it means filling in a form most people never hear about. If your employer matches, a $50 gift becomes 400 meals instead of 200.

  1. Search your company intranet for "matching gifts", or ask HR.
  2. Submit the claim naming Amara Feeds. We'll supply any registration details your employer's platform asks for — just email us.
  3. Forward us the confirmation and we'll handle the rest of the paperwork.

Some employers also match volunteer hours, and a few match at two or three times the gift. It's worth ten minutes to find out which yours does.

A gift in your will

The quietest way to fund a lot of lunches.

A legacy gift costs you nothing now and is straightforward for your attorney to add — usually a single clause naming the organization and either a fixed sum or a share of what's left.

Email us and we'll send the suggested wording along with our full legal details. There's no obligation to tell us you've done it, and we won't add you to anything or follow up. Plenty of people let us know so we can say thank you properly, but that's entirely your call.

Or just give now

Every gift is receipted, pooled monthly, and reported back to you with real numbers.
